For those who want to know whether to choose this Dexley chair or the Hyken chair [staples.com]...the Dexley is for bigger/taller people and the Hyken is for petite/average people. Lots of folks have these chairs, so hopefully can provide additional insights.

Has anyone stacked the "spin wheel" promo with this sale price? (The spin wheel is a pop-up that provides a $15 discount on a $60+ order when you sign up for emails/texts.)

I was trying to get this chair for work, figured it looks nice and obviously has a good price.
I own a Staples chair that looks extremly similar and it has been going strong for almost 10 years now... actually showing no signs of wear with 8+ hours of use a day and is the most comfortable chair I have ever owned.

In a discussion elsewere someone said they had bought a bunch of these for an office, and in a short amount of time they have had several of them become unusable because mesh was tearing, etc.

So I am not sure if quality has gone down, or its because I take better care of my stuff than the WWE free for all that some office environments can be.

For reference I am 6' tall and about 195lbs so I am not a tiny person.

I almost feel its worth this price even as a gamble, because I have no way to validate that products 3x the cost or higher are any nicer.

Not sure if this might be OOS already but I am unable to add it to my cart even after logging into my account and the chair seems to be promoted on their main page as well (and it shows "In Stock" on their website). Very weird. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

-Topper

Edit: Looks like Staples does NOT add the chair if you add either of the protection plans using the pop-ups while "Add to Cart". However, if you add the chair to cart and decline the popups for adding the protection plan, the chair gets added to the cart. Then you can go to "View cart" and then add either of the extended protection plans while in the cart and before starting the Checkout process. This is even more weird and not something a customer might figure out intuitively. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

I was gonna test it using a temp mail address but they require a working phone number to spam you for eternity, so I cannot validate.

I really wish I had done more research before buying this chair. Thank you for this comment. I'm 5'4" guy and the Dexley does not feel comfortable to me at all. The foam part of the chair kinda digs into the back part of my thighs when I have it at the shortest height. The mesh material on the chair also feels very plastic-y to me and defintely not as comfortable as a fabric chair.

Possibly the Hyken would be better for you, I think, though the mesh material might be the same AFAIK.

Yes, that $15 off $60 works with this sale. There is also a different $15 off $60 that comes by email that you can stack with it that will give you $30 off $120. You need a small filler item to get it to $120.00 subtotal though.

I think getting a Herman Miller aeron on fb marketplace for around 250-300 is more worth it but if you need new this isn't a bad deal

I got one of these for 3 years now. The only thing that messed up is that the "pump" actually went through the foot of the chair. I had to reinforce it. I'm 5'11' and 245lbs. Also, this chair is "BIG". It covers the full bottom of my legs when sitting down. The only thing I dislike about it now is that the back is aimed too far to actually get any support while sitting straight in the chair. I had to use a pillow behind my back to get some more back support.

Thank you for your comment. As someone who is 6'3" 185lbs, it's super hard to find a chair that's full mesh and fits me and your comment convinced me to give this a try before going for broke and getting the Herman Miller Aeron C chair for waaaay more. Might still go that route in the end, but I'm excited to try the Dexley to see how it fits my size.
