This is why $18 for 4 cartridges is such a good deal. Normally it costs at least $15 for one cartridge. Even if you only use 2 you come out ahead.

True there's a risk with storing too many especially if your use case is minimal. But the price per cartridge normally makes it an acceptable risk.

Currently using one of these from a two pack and at first there was a slight noise but we pushed thru and now no unusual noise and print quality is indistinguishable from the OEM.

I had the same problem. Also noticed they are not consistent and the number of pages you get varies greatly. Went back to the brother cartridges.
